Elizabeth May is a Registered Nurse and an Independent/Supplementary Nurse Prescriber, gaining the latter qualification at King’s College London. She also has an MBA and DMS in Business Studies. Lizzie has been working within the dermatology and aesthetic field for over 17 years, and is a member of the Royal College of Nursing. Elizabeth originates from New Zealand where she trained and worked in general surgical and medical nursing.

Lizzie has a keen interest in natural, subtle, and yet effective results, specialising in advanced anti-wrinkle treatments to the upper and lower face. Dermal injectables, which sculpt and lift the chin and cheeks and  giving the lips a natural rejuvenated appearance. 

Lizzie compliments these treatments with skin surface treatments including micro needling for skin rejuvenation and treatment of scars, intense pulsed light and pulsed-dye laser for rosacea and redness and Q-switched laser for pigmentation. She has an extensive knowledge of topical preparations for the skin to compliment these treatments.

Lizzie offers the complete package of fine line and wrinkle reduction, improving volume loss and skin surface rejuvenation. She also specialises in other popular treatments including treatment for hyperhidrosis (treatment for excessive under arm perspiration), and teeth grinding.

Outside work, Lizzie enjoys gardening, traveling, and designing jewellery and interiorsΩ

Dr. Mark Griffiths

Dermatology appointments are available with Dr Griffiths on Friday afternoons - please visit The Derm Rooms website for more information.

Dr Griffiths is the Medical Director of The Derm Rooms.

Dr Griffiths graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2002. He went on to complete general medical training and acquired membership to the Royal College of Physicians in 2005. Following completion of specialist training in dermatology he was appointed as a Consultant Dermatologist at the West Middlesex Hospital before moving on to the Royal Free Hospital in June 2012.

He has a broad range of interests including rashes and acne, moles and skin lesions, skin cancer, skin surgery, psoriasis, pigmentation disorders and hair loss. He has written the dermatology chapter of an undergraduate medical student textbook, published a number of articles in peer reviewed journals and has written educational articles for Dermatology in Practice, a journal circulated to GPs and practice nurses throughout the UK. He has also worked as a reviewer for articles submitted to the British Journal of Dermatology and Clinical and Experimental Dermatology.
